Introduction
Zillow Data Exporter is a free tool that allows you to export property data from Zillow.
The data is exported to a CSV/Excel file that can be opened in Excel or any other spreadsheet programs such as Google Sheets.
I have continued working on the extension and a new version: 0.0.7 has been released a few days ago. This version contains a small number of bugfixes and improvements.
I would like to take a moment and thank each and everyone of you for your feedback and support. I really appreciate it.
What's new
-
Removed columns from exported files that contained data that was not relevant to the current context. For example, if you export a list of properties for sale, it does not make sense to have a "Sold Date" column in the exported file. Reducing the number of columns in the exported file makes it easier to work with the data and avoid being distracted by irrelevant data.
-
Added more tests to ensure that the exported data is correct.
-
Code cleanup. To be able to release more features in the future, I have started to refactor the code. This will make it easier to add new features and fix bugs. This is happening in the background and you will not notice any changes.
Bugfixes
- Fixed a bug that caused the extension to not start properly when exporting a list of properties for rent.
Install
The extension is available for free on the Chrome Web Store. The update should have been applied automatically, but you can also manually update the extension by following the detailed guide located on the this page.
